Cook Islands Medical & Anti-Doping Organisation
CIMADO was established in 2004 as a Sports Medical Commission and is responsible to the Cook Islands Sports and National Olympic Committee (CISNOC). CIMADO’s role is to provide advice to CISNOC on medical issues, provide health advice to athletes, the promotion of health and physical activity in our community, and the protection of clean athletes. As a Code signatory to the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) CISNOC is responsible for implementing and upholding the World Anti-Doping Code. CIMADO fulfils this responsibility for CISNOC.
