BEDDOES SMASHES NATIONAL RECORD

ALEX BEDDOES COOK ISLANDS ATHLETICS REPRESENTATIVE SMASHES NATIONAL RECORD 800M

By COOK ISLANDS ATHLETICS

On the 21st March 2019, National 800m Record was smashed by Alex Beddoes in Melbourne during the Victorian Milers 800m final. Alex set another PB and broke his own national record shaving almost one second off his best time.

The new Cook Islands National 800m Record is now 1:50.16. This follows on from a 400m national record in early March.

Congratulations and best of luck to Alex who races next at Australian Nationals in 2 weeks. Let’s get behind Alex in his goal to run sub 1.50!!!
